Extended tops for 4 passenger golf carts are manufactured by several different manufacturers and are different in size and shape. In order to determine whether we have an enclosure that will fit your cart like a glove we will need the following emailed to david@stevescartshop.com: 1) 2 pictures of the cart including the top, a front view and a side view. Please remove any enclosures on the cart before taking the pictures; 2) size of the top, length and width measured from the underside middle, from outside to outside including any metal bands around the outside edge; 3) Indicate whether your rear seat is stationary or flips to make a bed; 4) Your name & phone number.
We will get back with you after we identify the top. We are sorry for any inconvenience but this is necessary to ensure that the product we send you fits like it is supposed to. This will not delay the process of ordering and delivery.

Additionally, all rear seat kits are not the same. If you have a rear seat that is not factory, parts of it may extend past the top causing the rear curtain to not zip all the way or if zipped can cause the enclosure to fit too tight and pre-mature failure could occur.

Club Car models - Important, please read:
These enclosures are custom and it is very important that we know your cart model and the type of top. Club Car DS model changed tops in mid-year 2000. To determine whether you have a pre-2000-1/2 year or a 2000-1/2 and newer you can look for the following: The top frame for the pre-2000-1/2 will be aluminum in color and the 2000-1/2 and newer will be black in color; The seat backs for the pre-2000-1/2 will be two(2) separate backs and the 2000-1/2 and newer will be one (1) full back.

Ezgo RXV models - Important, please read:
These enclosures are custom and it is very important that we know your cart model and the type of top. Ezgo RXV model changed tops in early-year 2009. To determine whether you have a pre-early 2009 year or an early 2009 and newer you can look for the following: Grooves in the underside of the top- 6 grooves for pre-early 2009 or 5 grooves for early 2009 to present.

Installation instructions for over the top enclosures

  1. Remove the windshield from your cart.
  2. Install the enclosure assembly by laying it on the roof of the golf car, with the pocket toward the front of the golf car.Pull the pocket of the enclosure out past the front edge of the roof.Slide the enclosure toward the back of the car, allowing the roof of the golf car to slide into the pocket of the enclosure.
  3. Unzip the sleeves from the door curtains and install be wrapping it around the windshield frame so that the cut out for the windshield retention clip is toward the top end of the sleeve. Engage the smaller zipper so that it wraps snugly around the windshield frame. The zipper should be on the backside of the windshield frame.Adjust the height of the sleeve as necessary for even alignment after the sides are installed and zipped to the sleeves.
  4. If your enclosure has body snaps install the male portion of the snaps on the body of the cart using the pop rivets provided. The enclosure should be snug but not to tight.
  5. Re-installing your windshield:If using a support bolt for the windshield, cut a small “X” in the sleeve to allow for placement of the support bolt through the windshield frame and sleeve.Un-zip the sleeve to expose the back side of the windshield frame where the support bolt hole is.Reverse the bolt by inserting it from the backside of the windshield frame.Attach the windshield by carefully snapping the windshield extrusion around the sleeve and frame.Attach the nut to the supporting bolt and tighten.Re-zip the sleeve.
